Can I shoot carbon graphite arrows out of my recurve?

Question by ryan: Can I shoot carbon graphite arrows out of my recurve?
Or will that damage my bow? I have a Signal Predator. 58" 45 lb.

They are probably heavy enough not to damage your bow.
(You can add heavier points if that worries you.)
Do get advice on the proper shaft stiffness for your bow.
You will find that the stiff plastic vanes that they commonly
come withdon't shoot well off a 'shelf'.
You might have to refletch with feathers as I did.
With the stiff vanes, there's a pronounced 'spiral' to their flight that
can make things far too interesting.
